Don’t get discouraged if you’re a beginner; it doesn’t matter whether you’re starting out or you have published a few videos on TikTok. All you need to know is how TikTok works, and what you can try out.
A lot of people don’t grow on TikTok because they want to stay in their comfort zone. And it’s almost impossible to dominate on a social media platform without stepping out of your comfort zone.
It’s okay if you aren’t getting any followers or views right now. When I started making TikTok videos, I did not get likes or views either, and then I asked a friend who had a massive following on TikTok.
He was kind enough to give me some tips to grow on TikTok.
I want to share those tips with you, folks.
Not only did I follow his tips, but I also learned a lot from experimenting. I kept on creating TikTok videos and learning from the outcome.
Then the day came when I uploaded a TikTok video, and within a few days, it reached a million views mark.
So I wanted to share what I learned from getting a million views on a TikTok.
I’m confident that if you’re passionate about TikTok and want to grow your following, these tips will help you grow faster.
5 Tips to Get a Million Views on a TikTok Video
1. Upload Videos Consistently
One of the fundamental things I did to get more views or make my video go viral on TikTok was uploading consistently. If it isn’t for consistency, I wouldn’t have been able to get a million views on a TikTok video. So don’t get discouraged if you aren’t getting ideas and fans on TikTok. All you need to do is keep on learning the growth tactics from other TikTokers.
2. Try Trending Sounds
Making TikTok videos on trending sounds is extremely important for going viral on TikTok. I’ve tried this, and it worked for me. It’s also true that there is no guarantee that your video with a viral sound would go viral, but don’t get disappointed because you never know which video changes everything for your TikTok account.
3. Collaborate with TikTokers
Collaboration is essential for any social media platform. Similarly, you can’t grow without collaborating with other TikTokers. You don’t only need to meet other TikTokers in-person, but you should also try to react on TikTok videos and duet with other creators. Use every collaboration tool available at your disposal.
4. Use Original Sounds
One of the things I learned from my experience of making TikTok videos is that the original weighs a lot. When you use an original sound on the platform, it means you’re bringing a new piece of content onto the platform, and TikTok values it. So don’t shy away from using an original sound on TikTok. What if one of your original sounds goes viral and someone else’s video on your sound gets millions of views? It might turn things around for your account as well.
5. Promote on Other Social Media Networks
You might have heard that cross-promotion is necessary on all of your social media platforms. The same goes for TikTok; don’t hesitate to mention your TikTok ID in your YouTube videos or Instagram stories. I have noticed that TikTok stars push their fans to follow them on Instagram and YouTube, and that’s because they understand this point. They’re using their attention or position on one platform to establish on other social platforms. It would be best if you did the same thing to get more followers on TikTok.
